Hi there! I am Seira, an award-winning storyteller, community connector, and striving to be a bridge builder.

Currently working as an intern at Albany Democrat-Herald and Corvallis Gazette Times through the Asian American Journalism Association's internship.

My creative work includes news and features writing and photography, with developing skills in audio, podcasting, and short-form videos. 

I grew up in Tokyo, Japan, and have lived in Oregon's Willamette Valley for the past six years—a forever "duck" and here to meet you and explore your story together.
